Welcome to our House
We are a couple living in the Canberra region that have decided to build our own home. We thought we would pass on what we have learnt so that others can build on this knowledge :-)

Our biggest project - The Driveway!!
The driveway is finally underway. We have prepared most of the base
and are now waiting for the concrete curb to go down. Once this is in,
we will backfill the middle with the remainder of the base and then lay
down the AC10 Hotmix.

 This is a shot from about halfway down the driveway. Overall it is about 220m long. The 'posts' along the side will be lights. Another of our favourite Tonka toys on the right ;) |
